Lessons at available at £25 for 35 minutes or £40 for 1 hour. Within the hour lesson our flightscope launch monitor will provide you with a detailed report on your club swing, from the average carry and lateral distance, club and ball speed, smash factor, back and side spin, vertical and horizontal launch angle of the ball, angle of descent of the ball, shot height, flight time and a general shot classification.

MATT PEARSON PGA Qualified Golf Professional Head Professional at Waterton Park Matt began his successful career in golf at an early age, becoming the England and Yorkshire Boys Champion in 1989. In 1990 he was selected to play for the England Boys Team ‘v’ Scotland. Whilst he was a member of Abbeydale Golf Club, he became the Sheffield Player of the year in 1988-96, and he played for the Yorkshire Boys between 1988-1993 and for the Yorkshire Colts in 1993-1996. Matt undertook his PGA training at Waterton Park, gaining his PGA qualification in 2001, in the same year he also became the YPGA order of Merit Champion, the STA Charity Pro-Am Winner (-6, 66), the Yorkshire Open Pro-Am Winner (-3, 68) and the PGA North Region Fourball Champion. Matt now runs a successful golf shop at Waterton Park, whilst continuing to teach lessons specialising in custom fitting with the use of his flightscope launch monitor.

SCOTT BARBER PGA Qualified Golf Professional G.S.E.D Qualified Instructor of the Golfing Machine Head Teaching Professional at Waterton Park Scott turned professional in 1992 and qualified in 1995. He served his apprenticeship at Phoenix Golf Club and Abbeydale Golf Club. He then worked as Head Professional at Gut Apeldor Golf Club in Germany for 12 years, in which time he won the North of Germany Order of Merit and attained a card for the European Challenge Tour. During his time in Germany, Scott was the head coach to the regional junior team. Scott completed a four year training program in California under the guidance of Bentley Doyle, gaining a G.S.E.D qualification of the Golfing Machine. Since 2006 Scott has been the Head Teaching Professional at Waterton Park. In 2008 Scott became the 2008 PGA Leeds Cup Champion with a winning total of –8.

ADAM COLLINSON Training PGA Professional Adam is in the first year of his PGA training course. He played regularly in the scratch team before turning professional. He is a regular in the Leeds and District Junior team, with a handicap of –0.2.
