Waterton Park in Wakefield is set amongst the wonderful Yorkshire Countryside and boasts glorious views over one of Yorkshire’s most picturesque lakes. The 18 hole ‘6781’ yard course was built within the walls of the historic Waterton Estate. The course spans 200 acres and provides constantly stunning views of the 26 acre lake and parkland. The unique topography of the course provides a challenging and enjoyable game to golfers of all abilities. To help make your round even more pleasant we can provide you with a buggy and you can stop for refreshments at the halfway house. ‘We have full tees and greens 12 months a year’.
You can also test your driving, pitching, chipping and bunker skills on our 40 acre Crofton View Practice Ground, situated directly outside the golf shop. The shop is stocked with the latest clothing ranges and golfing equipment. The clubhouse offers a warm and friendly reception to members and visitors with the provision of a gents and ladies changing room and a golfers spike bar. Visitors and members can also dine at the fabulous The Park Restaurant and Grill. |
